A pair of female lovers, one of whom is a humanoid, go to a robot repair shop hoping to have their relationship mended. On the advice of the mechanic, the human owner agrees to an irreversible upgrade for her humanoid soulmate. However, the results are not as expected. Anima Possession is an intricate and delicate short that explores human-on-human, human-on-humanoid, and humanoid-on-humanoid love relationships and what it means to be soulmates.
