Who We Are

At Hobnobben, we encourage people to “see and be seen.”

Hobnobben Film Festival is an annual Film Festival presented by Fort Wayne Cinema Center. Our festival connects filmmakers, film lovers, and the film-curious by illuminating the kaleidoscope of human experience through storytelling that projects ideas, conversations, and relationships beyond the cinema walls.

By showcasing diverse stories and voices that have been typically excluded, we’re able to curate a one-of-a-kind festival that invites participants to see themselves represented on screen — and be seen by others. We shine a light on historically marginalized stories and creators in film: LGBTQIA+, Black, Indigenous, people of color, women, international voices, seniors, non-White/Western, body positive stories, and the quirky/campy.

What We Value

At Hobnobben Film Festival, we are more than just a few days of showcasing films. We are a celebration of diverse storytelling, an incubator of meaningful conversations, and a catalyst for new relationships. Our mission revolves around key values that define our identity and set us apart:
