Planning for Hobnobben Film Festival Underway

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Planning for an annual Fort Wayne film festival is underway.

Hobnobben Film Festival, presented by the Cinema Center in downtown Fort Wayne, is set for October, but the deadline to submit films is June 1.

Cinema Center Executive Director Art Herbig says they have begun work preparing for the event’s 10th year. He says he wants people to know the center is more than just a movie theater.

“We’re here to serve the community and honestly, the most beneficial thing that someone can do for us is become a member,” Herbig said. “It grows our community, it grows our impact, and it really does allow us to make the case to others that we’re having a benefit here in Fort Wayne.”
